Salming Watches Scandinavia was founded in February 2018, when Börje Salming and Swedish entrepreneur Mats Kullenberg shook hands on the idea of creating a high-quality timepiece that would reflect Börje’s legendary hockey career and his time with the Maple Leafs.
Since then, Börje’s children have stepped in to take his place in the company. All four children are shareholders, and his son Rasmus Salming is an active member of the board, which also includes shareholders Mats Kullenberg, Jörgen Bertilsson and Krister Azelius.
Production of the watch takes place outside the company through a contract with Scandinavian Watch Company in Stockholm.
The company’s owners reside in Sweden, and its headquarters is located in Helsingborg, Sweden.
