Toronto Star: A Project Finished by Family
Toronto Star Sports Reporter Kevin McGran tells the story of how the Salming 1148 went from a project started by Börje Salming and Mats Kullenberg to one his children knew they wanted to complete.
Reflecting on seeing the design, Anders Salming shared:
“We could see right away this looks like my father.”
McGran also highlights the personal details behind the watch, its connection to the NHL Alumni Association and the limited edition of 1,148, noting that early interest had already exceeded the entire edition.
